Website files

Website content should remain within the customer or website scope assigned by the panel. Maintain separation between hosted customer content and JKPanel Server application files.

Permissions

• Avoid world-writable file permissions.
• Keep configuration files readable only where required.
• Preserve correct file ownership when uploading or restoring content.
• Do not modify JKPanel Server system files through customer-level file operations.

Before replacing files

Create a backup before large deployments, framework upgrades or bulk replacement of production website files.
