Licence purpose
JKPanel Pro licensing identifies an authorised software deployment. Licensing is separate from provider credentials used for hosting panels, registrars, gateways and other integrations.
Activation workflow
- Install
Deploy the authorised JKPanel Pro release.
- Identify deployment
Use the hostname and deployment identity required by the licence workflow.
- Activate
Submit the valid licence information through the supported activation process.
- Validate
Confirm the application reports the expected licensed state.
- Protect
Do not publish licence artefacts or private deployment credentials.
Server or hostname changes
A server migration, public-IP change or hostname change can affect the identity associated with a licensed deployment. Plan licence reassignment or reactivation before moving a production installation.
Provider credentials are not licence credentials
- Server-panel API tokens belong to the customer environment.
- Registrar credentials belong to the customer environment.
- Payment gateway secrets belong to the customer environment.
- Mail relay or SMTP credentials belong to the customer environment.
- Distribution packages should not contain JKSolutions production provider secrets.
