JKMail has been integrated with JKPanel through the JKMail server-module and agent/service interface.

Architecture

JKPanel manages the customer/business workflow while JKMail remains the mail-service authority responsible for SMTP, mailbox storage, IMAP and mail filtering.

Credential ownership

Deployment-specific JKMail credentials and integration tokens belong to the customer's environment. They are configured for that deployment and must not be embedded as shared JKSolutions production credentials in distributed software packages.

Failure isolation

If JKPanel mail provisioning fails while SMTP and IMAP remain healthy, investigate the JKPanel-to-JKMail integration path separately from the mail transport itself.
